Sadly, this was the highlight of my weekend.
Every time I get into a conversation about the Xbox lately, Halo 3 always seems to come up. I eventually mention that I hadn’t preordered the game yet, and then the person I’m talking to - like clockwork - has a faux freak out, “Oh man! You didn’t order it yet?!.” I feel guilty for a fraction of a second and then remember how I saw a billion copies of Halo 2 days for days after the release. But after the fifteen, “I was smart and ordered my copy of Halo months ago” I decided to just play it safe and put down a deposit.

I decided to go with Best Buy over the dork shop in the mall for my preorder, as I would rather be clunked over the back of the head with a shovel than ever order something at Gamestop. Anyway, I walked out of the store, clutching my preorder box with a feeling of accomplishment, moments later I felt kinda let down, seeing that the box is empty and the game doesn’t come out for nine more days.

You should just carry it around for the next few days and make a video out of it. Take the box to lunch, to the park, the movies, to bed, whatever, and put it to that dippy music montage from Naked Gun “Something tell me I’m into something gooood”
I want to play HALO 3 so bad and I do not own an XBOX of any kind. But 4 player co-op through the whole thing???? so jealous
Well, hopefully I’ll have my Xbox back in time for the release of Halo3. I called Microsoft and they told me to check back on the 27th or 28th… :-(
Yeah, I wonder what the 4 player co-cop experience must be like. I know there’s been times where having a third Spartan would be handy, especially to provide cover fire.
But having four people running around what is typically a single player game, might be too much. Sometimes there’s only so much ammo to go around. If we have 4 people, we’re gonna play on Heroic or Legendary.
At the very least, it give Hasser more people to tear up with friendly fire.
