Some sneaky photos I took this weekend.
The most recent, being the one I snapped at the Morrissey show last night in downtown Greenville (can you believe it?). Even though there were at least a dozen people around me taking photos, I was still kinda nervous when I raised the PDA to take a shot. We were located near the front - dead center - and I thought it would be weird if Moz looked over and saw me pointing that thing at him.

The show was amazing, and it was a nice mix of current songs and some Smiths favorites. At first, I was skeptical about how many people would turn out for the show, but I’ve come to learn that there’s Morrissey devotees everywhere. And I forgot how much fun it is watching all the fans rush the stage to grab at him (the encore ended early, as Morrissey was mobbed by folks).
The other sneaky photo I took was while we were shopping in downtown Greenville. I picked up this hand carved, wooden Frankenstein figurine, which I was gonna buy, but put down when I realized the legs were defective. I sat it down next to some other wooden figurines and kept going.

Moments later, I came to realize that I placed Frankenstein among a set of nativity scene dolls. Hah! I was gonna take him down, but decided to take a photo instead, seeing that he looked to happy there amongst the Baby J and the wisemen.

God bless Morrissey. Did he visit Greenville to be ironic?
To be honest, I’m not really sure he knew where Greenville is. The local security guards looked kinda freaked out because they had no idea who this Morrissey guy was, and why people went all nuts when he came on stage.
