I am in no way ready for the holidays.
That’s the realization I had this weekend when I ended up in “that one corner” of the local Target store, surrounded by holiday cheer. It seems rather soon, but for I know it’s already been there for three weeks already and I just didn’t pass by it. Anyway, being the consumer whore that I am, I should point out that I like seeing all the random merch that gets thrown our way during the holiday season - like these candy mp3 players, for example.
Other consumer-related observations:
1. I could probably make (and frequently update) and entire blog based entirely around products designed to cash in on the whole mp3 craze.
2. I broke my “I no longer buy DVDs until I decide on a high def format to buy” so that I could finally see Daywatch.
3. In my opinion, the most overplayed song in commercials and trailers is that terrible, “Feel the rain on your skin” song. How I hate that song.
4. Having a hard time deciding between Xbox 360 or the Wii for Guitar Hero 3 - leaning towards the Xbox today.

Go with the 360 GH3. I’m a huge fan of the Wii, but 360’s got a much better online service and more storage space for downloading songs.
Dude, you definitely need the 360 version. That way I can rock your face off as soon as I get a 360 in like a year from now or when I get a real job. Which ever comes first.

Are there live co-op matches? If so, then go with the 360, and I’ll buy a copy too!
But I have to tell you, I think I’m gonna get Assassin’s Creed as a guilty pleasure… that game looks awesome!!
I wouldn’t call Assasin’s Creed a guilty pleasure game, considering that it looks pretty cool and has been poorly reviewed.
Now something like Barbie Dream Factory or SpongeBob’s HandJob FlibFlob would be a guilty pleasure.

That song would be “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield, if anybody ever asks. Thing is, that song came out last year… like, EARLY last year or late ‘05… so it’s kinda old to still be using in commercials.
