You can’t keep the robot down.

I nuked my Wordpress database and blog, and I’m rebuilding for the next few days. Basically, I’m going to keep on blogging and building my new template, while tediously reconstructing the previous 350ish posts that I had in this iteration of my blog (luckily my old Blogger LLR archives remain unaffected).

Looks good.

And ain’t posting from Flickr grand?!

But after watching you deal with this. I think I am just gonna keep rolling with my Wordpress 2.3

My Wordpress install was screwed up, no doubt. But - and I’m kinda embarassed to admit this - I just realized that if I had one button checked in my upgraded version of Wordpress, it would’ve cleared up 85% of the database problems I was having. My categories were screwed up still, but the main issue probably could’ve been resolved.

I’m running 2.51 right now and it’s solid, and I feel better having nuked everything and starting over fresh.

Also, posting from Flickr is grand, but recovering those posts later isn’t so easy.
