Tonight a motley crew from the WYFF4 family faced off against the staff from the Greenville Drive baseball team as part of a charity event. The game was kickball, and we almost won.
We did pretty good throughout the match-up, but lost near the end of the game. But I think the Drive had the advantage, as they were always kicking during songs like “Regulate” or that one by Usher (that starts off like: Eerp-Eeep-Eerp-Eeep). I had to kick the ball to Maroon 5 - it wasn’t pretty.

Here’s a snapshot of our team Blue Ballerz from the fall kickball league, taken at last Friday’s game.
Every time we have a team photo taken I (unsuccessfully) try to summon the elemental forces to aid us in battle, so this time around Rod, the league photographer, finally photoshopped some lightning into the shot, since I have yet to actually summon storms. Yet. But if lighting were to strike out there on the kickball field, I think it would definitely hit near me and Ben - the only two nerds dudes in the whole league that wear glasses.
