Now that I look at it, this shot kinda looks like he’s hanging out at the edge of the Golden Gate bride, thinking about jumping.
Finally getting back in the groove of things, and taking more robot photos. I have so many new bots that need to get in on the action.

It’s not that I’ve been in a funk or anything, but now that I’m more of a random freelancer, rather than news photog, I’m not having as many weird adventures to blog about. Although, I did put together a promo for a zoo event this week and accidentally kept inserting shots of a now deceased elephant. Does that count?
Also, (to be blunt) my blog has been kinda fucked up, so I’ve been sorta avoiding it. Anyway, I have a ton of sweet projects I’m working on (how’s that for vague?), and I just snatched-up a very valuable piece of gear to add to my arsenal: the Canon 5D Mark 2. I’ll be using it for some film and TV projects, as it shoots full frame HD video. Expect to see some gorgeous video embeds (most likely involving robots) in the next few days.
Right now I’m adding a ton more stuff to my site that I never got around to this summer, so if you have a blog or site you want added to my blog roll – let me know.

The blog is back online, and I’m installing some excellent back-ups into my wordpress install (which I should have done back in August, but never got around to it). Whenever I get the chance, I’ll be adding some new gadgets and restoring some of the older ones. I save all my source code and customizations, so that stuff will happen much faster than I can reload the content.
Anyway, March was not my month, man. My Xbox blew-up, my eyeball got infected, the blog had a meltdown, and Battlestar Galactica was flown into the sun. “Beware the Ides of March!”
Indeed.
