This week was a pretty rad selection of comics. Not much could keep me away from the local comic shop today, not even the rude douchebag working the counter.
Rat Queens #6
Are there still people that haven’t heard of Rat Queens? It seems weird to me. Maybe it’s not for everyone, but that certainly hasn’t stopped me telling everyone how they should be reading it. I’m thrilled to see the new story arc kicking off this week, and hanging out, once again, with most ass-kicking gals in comics.
I might have to switch to digital comics. I can't wait another minute for the comic shop to open. I need the new #RatQueens NOW!

Original Sin #1
I’m warming up on Marvel (and other mainstream superhero) comics again. I blame all the rad movies and TV shows lately. This week marks my return to the big over-hyped summer blockbuster crossovers and will probably set the stage for my inevitable Marvel Unlimited subscription. And then it’s all downhill from there. Anyway, I thought this “Who Murdered The Watcher?” storyline looked line fun, and I even got a bouncy Watcher eye along with the book.
Caliban #2
I loves me some hard sci-fi, especially when it’s mixed with Lovecraftian horror.
I also snagged IDW’s new series The Woods #1, The Wake #8, and my regular Avatar jams: Crossed:Badlands #53 and God is Dead #12.
