The family tradition is back! (At least for this year anyway). This year the reigns of kid’s annual egg hunt have been handed over from Eliza- who started off the tradition – to her little brother, Griffin.

It’s time for Eliza’s annual Easter Egg Hunt! This is fourth year we’ve chased Eliza around with a video camera, but she’s getting so fast that Daddy had to strap an extra camera to her head.

Here’s a quick pre-Trick-or-Treat chat with Eliza, while she was still in character as “Cowboy ‘Liza.”

It’s time for the annual Eliza Egg Hunt! The whole affair takes much longer than this video depicts, since E stops for candy breaks constantly along the way – which also makes her VERY hyper by the time it’s over.

Eliza just got her “Big Girl Bike” and woke us up early, begging to ride it. So we geared up and went on a family bike ride, brining along the GoPro helmet cam to capture all the action.

We all take turns making dinner, and last night it was Chef Eliza’s turn. She demonstrates one of her many kitchen specialties: Italian meatballs!

Our preschool hipster loves listening to indie rock. After making us play this Decemberists song repeatedly in the car, we sat her down afterwards and asked sing the chorus in front of the camera. She was rather annoyed, which only added to her aloof hipster attitude.

Okay, so I’m late to the game in getting a GoProHD camera, and I finally couldn’t hold out any longer in getting one. I promptly made use of it this weekend with Eliza while tearing up the crazy, rooftop pool in our Miami hotel.

My daughter Eliza and her preschool pal had fun tearing up the playground. They didn’t mind the Sunday morning humidity, however they have very little patience for monsters.

My little gal is growing up so fast! She insists on pouring her own beverages, and usually does a pretty good job – until she gets greedy.

Here’s the highlight reel from Eliza’s living room Easter Egg hunt this morning…

And here’s the beginning of the inevitable sugar high….
Just messing around on the webcam at my computer. We have lots of little shows recorded so far.
Our daughter, Eliza loves grooving during the theme songs to various TV shows. She really gets into 30 Rock, The Office, and The Wire. Well, tonight she took her whole routine up a notch when the Parks & Recreation theme kicked-in. Hilarious! We kept rewinding the show and recording her going berserk to the song, and each video I shot had some awesome, new move she added – this one is my favorite because of the dramatic finishing move.
